Also the new "CineAssembly", a type of sequence that automatically is tied to and opens a specified level with it, as well as a note space for individual shots, this one is really early but promising!

There's the Production Wizard which allows you to set up seperate "shows" within one project with different global presets and settings, default sequence frame starts etc, super handy and you can swap between them, feeling more like katana every day.

I know that like TNG, DS9 & Voyager were both filmed in 35mm but edited on video and thats a big deterrant for them to be remastered like TNG was (they totally should be though) but as Farscape's 1" tape Bluray transfers showed, its still way better than DVD, why not do this?

Foam is in (went for the nuclear option) which is also using the new RayTraced Translucency, just roughened up! #UE5 #UnrealEngine #VFX #Simulation #Houdini #RayTracing

More testing of the new RayTraced Translucency in UE5-Main (5.6), still working out a good foam solution for stuff like this. #UE5 #UnrealEngine #VFX #Simulation #Houdini #RayTracing

Through The Ages has a new Experimental Beta Branch on Steam with NVIDIA Mega Geometry, ReSTIR PT, DLSS 4 & Ray Reconstruction. Beware, this is a super heavy workload! store.steampowered.com/news/… #UE5 #UnrealEngine #GameDev #VFX #RayTracing #Graphics #Retro #PathTracing #TechDemo

It has also occurred to me that this is probably the first thing on Steam to have Mega Geometry

This branch will probably only run well on a 5090, haha

Another thing that seemingly was added to UE5-Main(5.6) recently was the ability to do GeometryScript on GeometryCaches (Alembics) which is pretty cool, using a sphere boolean on an animated GeometryCache here #UE5 #UnrealEngine #GameDev #VFX

This cinematic showing iconic GPU's by @DylserX is amazing! REALLY detailed models down to the sticker placements and even supports DLAA and FG 😁 Check it out on Steam store.steampowered.com/app/3…
