I took it a step further and used @MoonVRPlayer to watch the trailer in Apple Vision Pro on a giant screen with Quality Boost and Realtime 3D. Yea, I used AI to take an AI generated thing and make it sharper and fully 3D. I kind of hate how much I loved it. Would I watch some of my favorite movies of all time remade this way? Yes I would. Turns out AI is getting to the point where it can do a very good job of taking the spirit of a live action scene and translating it to a compelling animation (at least better than the 1978 rotoscoped version of Lord of the Rings). And it's only going to get better. I absolutely believe this kind of training should be done with consent and licensing fees. Miyazaki hates AI and Lord of the Rings, so this kind of seems like a slap in the face to him. Ugh.
