Adam Driver should play Snape. It's not too late @warnerbros.

This might be a desperate ploy, but I don’t care. Snape has always been a Caucasian. He was in the books, the plays, the picture books, and even Rowlings drawings. There is absolutely no reason to take a detour now for a character of this magnitude. Harry Potter is already “diverse” there is no need to make unnecessary changes now in my opinion. I would be fine with any other teacher or even Hagrid being recast as a different ethnicity, but Snape should be off limits. I am asking the following creators to start or continue speaking out on this. Together we can at least make our voices heard. We all differ in personal beliefs, but I think we can come together on this. Some of you might call me an idiot and that’s fine, whatever. Paapa Essiedu is not Severus Snape. @jk_rowling knows it. @HBO knows it. Yet, they ignore it. Very disappointing. Alan Rickman was the perfect Snape, and Adam Driver would have been perfect for the role. What a complete 180. #HarryPotter

So much for a faithful adaptation @jk_rowling. He might be a wonderful guy and fantastic actor, but he is not Snape.

Kathleen Kennedy is leaving @Lucasfilm at the end of 2025 but the damage is already done. Her replacement would have to retcon a lot and remake the sequels to have a chance to bring Star Wars back.
