I thought the fake version became the real history as it rewrote the old one and they brought a fake Roger’s from the memory of the old timeline
The real Steve Roger had his history re-written by the red skull and the fake cosmic cube version took over his life as the most idealized version of Captain America. He would later die and get cloned by the X-Men.
Really shows in how the other alternate Marks are whiny immature childish crass emotional fighting junkies, and meatheads.
It’s in all their dialogue.
I’d call their dialogue sociopathic but it’s not far from comic Mark in places
That's part of what I love about this series: he grew up not even understanding what a consequence was because his dad was the strongest being in the galaxy plus was getting him ready for a hostile takeover.

I've met acrual real people who are just genuinely evil. No trauma, no tragedy, nothing. Just despicable vile creatures, with nothing leading to why. The idea that every villain needs to be some complex character that was a product of trauma, or circumstance, is absurd.
